Vera Veer / repair, reuse & charitable access
A useful object deserves another chapter.
Repair knowledge can stay with a person long after an object is fixed. Vera Veer is developing practical repair and reuse learning, thoughtful material recovery and need-based access to useful resources.

Small enough to do carefully
Object Afterlives is the proposed first pilot: guided assessment and repair of small household objects, paired with a simple care record. The task scope, teaching team, place and dates still need confirmation.
The aim is useful learning with care for the object and its owner. An actual invitation will explain what is available and how to take part.
Connected, with a purpose of its own
Vera Veer is a separate Colorado nonprofit corporation. Joseph Andrew Snider is developing it alongside his commercial G Benincasa Estética practice and Welly Wood. El Mercado is the marketplace taking shape at First House in Morrison.
Each keeps its own purpose, responsibilities and resources. Collaborations will be described when the roles are agreed.
Care for what still matters
Vera Veer begins with care for what still has value. Its developing Object Afterlives program connects practical repair and reuse learning with a clearer path for useful objects to remain in service.
In Joseph Snider's family story, Mamma, his paternal grandmother, represents care for things that still hold meaning. That influence continues in Vera Veer's developing Object Afterlives program: listening to what matters about an object, considering a suitable repair or reuse, and helping its owner understand the next step in its care.
