New in the House

G Benincasa Estética / restoration & stewardship

A life worth
carrying forward.

The character of an object lives in its materials, its history and the care that carries it into another chapter.

The flagship story / Hall’s Vault

Found.
Recovered.
Restored.

Discovered, funded and led by Joseph Andrew Snider.

A storage-unit discovery became a three-year project of recovery, restoration and continuing care. The architectural assembly brings G Benincasa’s commitment to material, memory and responsibility into view.

The care behind
the result.

Look closely at the object. Understand what survives. Bring the right collaborators together. Record the work and make room for a thoughtful next use.

Joseph’s practice brings these decisions together with design, making and practical project leadership. Restoration inquiries are considered around the particular object and the work it needs.

A practice
rooted in place.

First House in Morrison is the current studio and launch setting for G Benincasa. Working in a historic place brings the same questions into daily focus: what is here, what deserves care, and how can the next use respect what came before?
